Orange.FR (Orange.co.Uk), one of the largest cellular service providers in Europe has significantly changed their webmail interface. In addition to cellular service Orange provides data and phone services to small and medim business all over Europe in addition to broadband to end consumers. An impending merger between T-Mobile & Orange can position the provider as the undisputed market leader with over 37% market share and over 28 million users. It's estimated Orange's marketshare in France is nearly 50%. The new email client interface has abandoned the left side navigation in lieu of a smoother reading window that has fewer distractions. The increased space, from the to right, means that mailers can create emails with greater widths and cover more real estate above the fold by placing objects higher up and side by side. Orange does not have a reading pane so the need to position elements within the default email client relative to where they will appear in the preview pane view vs. the message view isn't a consideration. Most of the remaining changes are cosmetic in terms of colors and few small icon changes.
