Yahoo Connectivity Problems Persist For Another Day

Although Yahoo! sent an "all-clear" message in the evening yesterday regarding their MTA's connectivity problems it appears that the problems have returned as of this morning.

Yahoo! has posted a new notification on their blog this morning citing ongoing bandwidth problems. Mailers should expect to see a continuation of the "420 or 421" errors that are indicative of mail being deferred. Based on Yahoo!'s recomendations when a mailer receives a 420 or 421 they should wait 4 hours before retrying to deliver the mail.
