AOL Delivery Delays Continue According To AOL Postmaster Site

On December 30th we reported on Delivery Delays announced on the AOL Postmaster Blog due to the installation of new MTAs. The delays continue according to today's blog post.

AOL is asking mailers to provide manual logs of time outs when attempting to connect to AOL's mail servers and manual SMTP Sessions to expedite trouble shooting when contacting them.

In addition to the continuing migration of mail servers AOL has launched a new error code used to denote "user does not exist." Mailers using scripts should continue to filter using the old error code and add this one to their scripts:
