EXECUTIVE TEAM Deirdre Baird, President & CEO Deirdre Baird is a dynamic entrepreneur with a proven record of sales achievement, business acumen and leadership ability. She brings her seasoned direct marketing expertise to Pivotal Veracity, the company she founded in 2003, to change email marketing for the better by empowering direct marketers with a suite of tools to optimize delivery of email communication. Previously, Ms. Baird was a vice president at Digital Impact, a market leader of full-service one-to-one online direct marketing and customer relationship solutions. There she served as the executive lead and overall relationship manager with strategic clients. She also directed pipeline activity and positioning strategy across a nationwide sales force and assessed client needs and developed appropriate solution sets to meet their objectives. Prior to Digital Impact (DI), Ms. Baird was president and founder of Multinational Concepts, Ltd. (MNC), one of the most profitable international full-service direct mail list and global co-operative database firms. There, Ms. Baird identified and successfully exploited a market niche in a mature industry and amalgamated the traditionally separate functions of list management, list brokerage, and international database management under a single integrated program known as the MNC Global Alliance. She negotiated the sale of the company in a stock-acquisition agreement in late 1997 to Acxiom Corporation, a public company with a 2-billion+ market capitalization. Ms. Baird was previously vice president of Marketing & Operations at Catalog Marketing Services, Ltd. Ms. Baird holds her Master of Science degree in direct marketing from Northwestern University, where she ranked third in her class, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, Magna Cum Laude, from Syracuse University. Other academic accolades include the Northwestern University Faculty Scholarship, George W. Gerber Marketing Award, Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, Financial Management Honor Society, Greek Excellence Award and Delta Gamma Outstanding Senior Award. Michelle Eichner, COO & Vice President of Client Development Michelle Eichner brings ten years of direct marketing experience to Pivotal Veracity. She oversees the daily operations of the Company, as well as spearheads business development and customer support. Pivotal Veracity is out to change email marketing for the better by empowering direct marketers with a suite of tools to optimize delivery of email communication. Previously, Ms. Eichner was a strategic business consultant at Net Perceptions, an industry-leading provider of predictive analytic solutions for the multi-channel retail, manufacturing and distribution industries. There she consulted on multi-channel proprietary promotions and demand optimization software that assisted clients by improved market basket size, drive traffic, increased revenues, reduced cost and optimized supply chain. Prior to Net Perceptions, Ms. Eichner was a national account executive at Digital Impact, a market leader of full-service one-to-one online direct marketing and customer relationship solutions. She was also vice president, catalog marketing, for SkyMall Inc. and circulation manager for Lew Magram. Ms. Eichner began her career as assistant marketing manager at Harbor Freight Tools. Ms. Eichner earned her Master of Science degree in direct marketing from Northwestern University and her Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing from Drake University. Charles Goetz, CFO As Chief Financial Officer of Pivotal Veracity, Charles Goetz's primary role is to ensure the Company continues to achieve its financial and growth objectives. Mr. Goetz has more than twenty years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Pivotal Veracity, he was a managing director at Goldman Sachs and Company. Mr. Goetz was also a partner at Spear Leeds & Kellogg and served as CEO of SLK Global Markets, a wholly owned subsidiary of Spear Leeds & Kellogg, which conducted business in 40 countries and across five distinct business units including fixed income, equity trading, connectivity, clearing and proprietary trading. Mr. Goetz had also spent eight years at Gilder, Gagnon & Howe with its equity trading group and at Bear Sterns & Company in its options derivatives group. In addition to his financial role with Pivotal Veracity, Mr. Goetz currently serves on its board as well as in various executive and advisory capacities for a number of private companies in growing or innovative fields including: Elysian Fields Property (real-estate development), Roadside Ribs (a distributed food vendor), FSI Inc. (a professional football scouting company), Firefly Energy (alternative energy), KCRS Inc. (a productivity improvement and health management company) and Duvacy Inc. (a European trading platform software development company). Mr. Goetz earned a BS in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from Syracuse University. |
